Improv Classes are tons of fun and provide invaluable skills training often missed by traditional school classes. In addition to public classes,we send teachers all over the tri-state area and nationwide to schools, camps, and community centers.

We have 1-2 hour workshops as well as residencies and weekly class programs.

- In school electives
- After school prorgamming
- Summer Camps
- Destination Imagination
- JCC, YMCAs and other community centers
- Private Functions (Have a comedy show/workshop at your next birthday party or family reunion)

Cultural Arts

Improv Comedy is similar to training in theater. We discover creativity and critical thinking. We learn to perform on stage.

Humor and creativity work in similar ways, says humor guru William Fry, M.D., of Stanford University–by creating relationships between two disconnected items, you engage the whole brain.

Language Arts

Improv Comedy is Creative Writing. We learn how to tell great stories. We develop strong characters and settings. We build plots on the spot. We learn to use our words to communicate. We also learn how to most effectively use those words, but projecting and announciating.

Character Building

Improv teaches both community and leadership. We build strong team skills and individual self confidence. Great improv requires listening and respecting our scene partners. Individuals with a strong sense of self and community will not become bullies or victims. Instead, they become community leaders and better students.

Why students need more laughter in their lives?

What can laughter do?: Here are just some benefits for mental, physical and social health

•Lower blood pressure
•Increase vascular blood flow and oxygenation of the blood
•Give a workout to the diaphragm and abdominal, respiratory, facial, leg, and back muscles
•Reduce certain stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline
•Increase the response of tumor- and disease-killing cells such as Gamma-interferon and T-cells
•Defend against respiratory infections–reducing the frequency of colds–by immunoglobulon in saliva.
Increase memory and learning; in a study at Johns Hopkins University Medical School, humor during instruction led to increased test scores
•Improve alertness, creativity, and memory
